Communication technologies have become more and more vital for an organization to compete in the digital era of the present time. Online communication keeps replacing face-to-face interactions and/or transactions. It is then necessary for an organization to constantly improve and develop its online applications, not only for the sake of survival but also for the prosperity of the organization.

On January 31, 2022, Chiang Rai Campus, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tipchan Wongchanta, organized the “2022 Website Development Project.” The purpose was twofold: 1) to have a website that supports the Thailand 2022 Integrity and Transparency Assessment: ITA and 2) to prepare for the website contest, as regulated by University of Phayao. 

Chiang Rai Campus had an honor to receive two website experts from Center for Information Technology and Communication Services, University of Phayao, Mr. Thitinon Maneetham, Head of Communication Technology Training and Mr. Nanthawat Mueangchang, to conduct the workshop online, due to the pandemic. 

The workshop content included SEO Google, traffic, structure, backlink, and content creation of the website. Also discussed were the criteria of UP Website Contest:

    5. Description of Photos/Pictures
    6. The Design of Web Responsive
    7. Activities Calendar
    8. Distribution of Articles and Interviews
    9. Bilingual Website (Thai and English)
    10. The Use of Google Analytics 
    11. The Beauty and Neatness of the Website

The workshop was an eye-opening for participants, and a long and meaningful discussion ensued.
