Study Visit to Chinese University of Hong Kong

On 20 October 2026, a study visit delegation from the Chiang Rai Campus, University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Kasidit Meeprom, Associate Dean for Research, Innovation, and Area-Based Academic Services, and Assistant Professor Dr. Natthawut Sabphaso, Associate Dean for Student Quality and Professional Experience from School of Education, visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. The visit focused on university administration, higher education systems, curriculum development, and approaches to fostering students’ academic potential in an international context. It provided an important opportunity to broaden academic perspectives, explore the practices of an internationally oriented university, and gain insights into the role of higher education institutions in developing knowledge, professional competencies, and skills essential for responding to contemporary societal changes.

The delegation also explored admission pathways to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programmes, with particular attention to available programmes, application procedures, admission requirements, academic qualifications, and preparation of supporting documents. The exchange further highlighted the importance of language proficiency, academic performance, and readiness for international study, providing valuable guidance for students and prospective applicants considering further education abroad. In addition, the visit offered opportunities to exchange perspectives on academic development, international educational opportunities, and institutional collaboration. The knowledge and experiences gained are expected to support future study planning, professional development, and the strengthening of educational cooperation between Thailand and international institutions.
