Financial Management
Life needs disciplines. One just cannot do anything at will and expects good results. Rather, we, like riding a bicycle, need to keep balance if we want to move forward smoothly, not to say successfully. Seen in this light, shrewd financial management is no alien.
On March 17, 2023, Ching Rai Campus, led by Associate Professor Dr. Tipchan Wongchanta, the Director, organized a special talk on Personal Finance Planning and How to Apply the Late King Rama IX’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy to Sustainable Corporate Financial Management. To better offer academic service to the wider community, the event was conducted both onsite and online.
Chiang Rai Campus had an honor from Dr. Atchara Yomsin from Sustainable Development and Sufficiency Economy Studies Center, National Institute of Development Administration, to share her insights into financial management to participants, which were 69 people in total.
The event ended with enthusiastic and engaging discussions on personal finance planning, tips to keep balance in life, the sufficiency philosophy’s management principles encompassing moderation, reasonableness, and prudence.
