Development of Inventory Database System

Technology, when used properly, yields constructive results. While it can be used by an individual to gain unlimited knowledge across the globe, technology can definitely bring about effectiveness and transparency of an organization. Chiang Rai Campus; therefore, actively looks for ways to incorporate in its routine works modern technologies. 

Chiang Rai Campus, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tipchan Wongchanta, Director, had a progress report on the inventory database system to be used within the Campus. The newly developed database aimed at enhancing the inventory database system through the application of modern technologies so as to ensure the effective use of the database and the administrative transparency. 

Mr. Phanuphong Moolchanta, Computer Technical Officer, and Ms. Waraporn Donchai, Supplies Officer, Chiang Rai Campus, made a presentation on how to use the newly developed inventory database system, which includes classifications of the inventory, places to keep the items, personnel in charge, staff authorized to access and/or administer the inventory, and many other necessary features that lead to the efficiency and transparency of administration of Chiang Rai Campus. The meeting ended with rich and active discussions among staff members, whose inputs were significant for further development of the database system.
