2022 ITA Award
Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) has become one of the major drivers to ensure the stability of organizations in Thailand, public and private. Essentially, it brings about trust in the eye of the public. Since no universities can stand firm without trust and support from stakeholders, ITA is but the thing that University of Phayao must seriously take it into account.
On April 7, 2022, Chiang Rai Campus, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tipchan Wongchanta, Director, participated in the Internal ITA Day at University of Phyao. This year is the third consecutive year that Chiang Rai Campus has been awarded Level A, with 92.29% which is higher than the previous year at A (90.95%)
The ITA award is granted to an organization according to the 6 principles; namely, 1) virtue, 2) law, 3) transparency, 4) participation, 5) accountability, and 6) worthiness. Like other universities in Thailand, all schools and units at University of Phayao have been assessed by 3 parties as follows.
Party 1: Internal Integrity and Transparency Assessment: IIT
This is assessed by faculty and staff members within the school/unit who have worked for the University at least one year.
Part 2: External Integrity and Transparency Assessment: EIT
This is assessed by the stakeholders who have contacted or used the services of the school/unit within the same fiscal year.
Part 3: Open Data Integrity and Transparency Assessment: OIT
This part is assessed through the website of the school/unit.
The ITA Internal Day at University of Phayao is organized yearly to recognize the success of the schools/units that have successfully passed the ITA criteria and to exchange good practices among representatives from schools/units. Such things will bring about passion and direction to run and/or improve the organization, University of Phayao.
