          Giving services to communities is one form of social engagement Chiang Rai Campus has done its best. During October 6-8, 2022, the NRSR Engineering Co., Ltd. held a seminar on “Safety in Confined Space” at Chiang Rai Campus. Participated were 30 people from Chiang Rai Province. The seminar covered critical issues on safety control; for example, law on work safety, possible dangers when working in confined space, safety protection equipment, responsibilities of licensors, supervisors, assistants, and workers.

The seminar neatly responded to the world’s Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs that University of Phayao and Chiang Rai Campus have tried to achieve. This case beautifully answers the SDG11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Knowledge, skills, and experiences for safety control in confined space gained from the seminar are highly expected for the development and wellbeing of relevant settings and communities.
